The Farmers
We’re a duo driven by love for each other, the outdoors, and our community.
Mimi
Farming changed my relationship to food, the environment, and my community. Nurturing a seed into vegetable takes patience, consistency, and trust. The gratitude I feel for all that went into a meal from the farm keeps me coming back to this work, and my goal is to share this intensely humanizing experience with others!

Understanding the who, where, and how behind my food is very important to me. Farming has not only taught me about the benefits of local produce, it’s also given me an amazing community that brings authentic values into my kitchen and life.
The Farm
We are cultivating a wee but mighty 1/4 acre of land in Woodinville, WA. Although our end product is vegetables, herbs, and flowers, we focus on growing soil. We use organic inputs, low-till bed prep, diverse rotating crops, and lots of compost to boost the living ecosystem of the soil. If the soil’s happy, our crops are happy, and we’re happy. Wild Plate Farm follows the market garden model, utilizing biointensive agriculture to grow an abundance of crops while increasing biodiversity and sustaining soil fertility.
